Enter the PeakPTT application -> Ensure you are in the Group tab -> Tap on the Headphone icon to the right of the group you are attempting to monitor.
The headphone icon changes color from GRAY to BLUE.
How do I privately call another user?
Enter the PeakPTT application -> Ensure you are in the Group tab -> Tap on Contacts at the top of the screen -> Tap the box to the right of the desired user -> Push the PTT button once -> You are now in a private call with that user.
To exit the private call, push the BACK button twice.
How do I adjust my radio volume?
Enter the PeakPTT application -> Locate the volume buttons on the left side of the radio -> Push either the UP or DOWN arrow to increase or decrease the volume.
How do I adjust my microphone volume?
Enter the PeakPTT application -> Tap on Menu at the bottom right of the screen -> Tap on PTT Call -> Adjust “Recording volume” to the desired level by using the blue slider to the right.

Push and hold the ORANGE button at the top of the radio until you hear a tone.
All radios will receive an audio and visual alert.
How do I cancel an SOS I received?
Tap on OK at the bottom of the SOS alert on the screen -> Tap on the red paintbrush at the bottom right of the map screen to clear the alert from your map.
How do I view the map on my radio?

How do I send messages to other radios?
Enter the PeakPTT application -> Ensure you are in the Group tab -> Tap on Contacts at the top of the screen -> Tap and hold on the desired user -> A blue menu will appear -> Tap on Send message -> Tap the blue line at the bottom of the screen and begin typing -> Tap on send when you are done.
How do I change the time zone on my radio?
The time zone automatically changes depending on your geographic location.
How do I acquire my radio IMEI?
Ensure radio is powered off -> Remove the belt clip if it is the slide-on type -> Locate the back lock slider at the top-rear of the radio and switch it to the unlocked position -> Slide the back cover down to remove it -> Remove the battery by pulling down the black battery clip and lifting the battery up and away -> You should now see your radio IMEI.
My radio talks too much. How do I disable (audible announcements) this?
Enter the PeakPTT application -> Tap on Menu at the bottom right of the screen -> Tap on Voice -> Disable the setting “Voice broadcast”.
How do I change the PTT tones on my radio?
Enter the PeakPTT application -> Tap on Menu at the bottom right of the screen -> Tap on Voice -> Scroll down to the settings “PTT start sound” and “PTT end sound” -> Tap on the box to the right and select the desired sound effect.
How do I unlock the screen?
Click the power button once -> Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to the top -> The radio will make a tone once the screen is unlocked.
How do I connect my radio to WiFi?
Unlock the screen -> Push the home button on the bottom center of the radio -> Locate and tap on the gear icon for Settings -> Tap on Network & Internet -> Tap on WiFi -> Tap on Use WiFi -> Locate and tap on your network -> Insert your password and tap on Connect.
Once successfully connected to WiFi, you will see the WiFi icon on the top right corner of your screen.
